By accessing and using AppIcons (appicons.io), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
Description of Service
AppIcons is a web application that allows users to generate app icons using AI. Users describe the icon they want through text prompts and optional reference images, and the service generates icon compositions made of styled SVG objects. The service operates on a credit-based system.
User Accounts
Registration
To use AppIcons, you must create an account via email and password or through a third-party provider (Google, GitHub). When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive activity
- Attempt to exploit or disrupt the service
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Credits and Payments
Credit Packs
AppIcons uses a credit-based system. Credits are purchased as one-time credit packs and are non-subscription. Each icon generation costs credits.
Refunds
Credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable, as credits are consumed immediately upon use. If you experience a technical issue that results in lost credits, contact us and we will review your case.
Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change credit pack pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect credits already purchased.
User Content
Your Prompts and Icons
You retain ownership of the text prompts you submit and any reference images you upload. You own the icons generated through the service and may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
License to Operate
By submitting prompts and images to AppIcons, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our systems and third-party AI providers as necessary to deliver the service.
Content Restrictions
You agree not to use AppIcons to generate content that:
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains or promotes illegal activity
- Is harmful, abusive, or hateful
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
Service Availability
AppIcons is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. AI-generated results may vary in quality and accuracy.
Intellectual Property
The AppIcons application, including its design, code, and branding, is our property and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the application.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppIcons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AppIcons, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
